Itinerary
Day 1 - Calgary
After arriving in Calgary, transfer independently to your hotel for a three-night stay. The rest of the day is at leisure to further explore this world-class city.
Day 2 - 3 Calgary Stampede Extravaganza Package
Over the next two days we welcome you to the event most appropriately named “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”. Included is one afternoon ticket to a rodeo with gate admission, and one evening ticket to the Chuckwagon Races and Grandstand show with gate admission, as well as 2 Skyrides over Stampede Park. Overnights in Calgary.
Day 4 - 5 Banff
You are free to enjoy the wonders of Banff and its' hidden gems. Banff is known to be one of the Rockies most popular mountain towns, with its’ bursting charm and breath-taking scenery, you will be sure to take home a true Canadian experience. There is plenty to do, whether it is to take a canoe tour out onto Bow River or head up to Sunshine Mountain in a gondola and glimpse the Canadian Rockies from up top. 2 nights in Banff
Day 6 - 7 Jasper
Jasper is a small, charming mountain town with stunning surroundings to explore, Enjoy hiking or a gentle stroll to soak it all in. Spend a day of leisure to explore the uniquely beautiful landscape of Jasper’s National home to serene lakes and spectacular glaciers.2 nights in Jasper
Day 8 - Rocky Mountaineer Jasper to Kamloops
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Jasper Station. Today you will travel from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops.
Day 9 - Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Vancouver
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station. On today’s journey west, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains. Your rail journey ends this evening upon arrival in Vancouver.
Day 10 - 11 Vancouver
You will arrive independently downtown hotel. Rated as one of the most livable cities in the world, Vancouver is world-class. With ample of shopping options and plenty of attractions to visit, you will not get bored. Why not try out some of the best foodie tours in Canada whilst in Vancouver, or take a day trip up to Whistler via the stunning Sea to Sky Highway. 2 nights in Vancouver.
Day 12 - Vancouver to Alaska Cruise with Celebrity
It is the day of your departure from Vancouver on your Alaska cruise. Boarding starts from approx 12.30pm and your cruise departs at 4:30pm. Make sure that you are out on deck as you depart the harbour and pass under the Lions Gate bridge and into the Strait of Georgia.
Day 13 - Scenic Cruising the Inside Passage
The renowned Inside Passage is a fabulous journey, departing from Vancouver you'll enjoy all round scenery from the moment you set sail. Prepare for incredible views of wildlife and breathtaking glacier bays and craggy coast lines. Watch out for whales, porpoises and birds of prey along the journey.
Day 14 - Icy Strait Point*
Arriving at 3pm into Icy Point, this will be your first taste of the rich native heritage and culture that Alaska oozes and you can’t help but fall in love with it. Adventure activities, whalewatching excursions, local cuisine, history tours – however you want to spend your day exploring Icy Strait is up to you. Depart at 10pm.
*Some departures will visit the Russian-influenced fishing village of Sitka
Day 15 - Cruising Hubbard Glacier
Arrive at 10:30. Hubbard Glacier is breathtaking. Listen out as you can often hear the glacier moving! Immerse yourself in your surroundings of jagged icy peaks and the turquoise blue ocean. Today will be a truly magical experience. Leave at 2:30pm.
Day 16 - Juneau, Alaska
This morning you will arrive in Juneau at 7:30am, Alaska's wonderful capital city. There are so many exciting ways to spend your day here. A wonderful sight is the Mendenhall Glacier which is enormous! Or if you are looking for something a bit more active, then there is a myriad of activities to choose from. Depart Juneau at 8pm.
Day 17 - Ketchikan, Alaska
You will dock in Ketchikan at 2pm this afternoon, with the rest of the afternoon and early evening to spend exploring the wonderful green surroundings. Outdoor activities are endless here! There is also so much history and a wonderful Gold Rush story for you to unravel and be swept away by. You will depart Ketchikan at 8:30pm.
Day 18 - Inside Passage (Cruising)
Cruising the magnificent Inside Passage again you will make your way back to Vancouver. Keep your eyes peeled for the exciting wildlife as whales and porpoises breach the surface below.
Day 19 - Fly from Vancouver
Your Rockies and Stampede experience ends today. You have a little bit of time to shop for those last souvenirs before heading to the airport.
ESTA online application for entry to the USA
Important: All cruise passengers must complete the online Visa Waiver form by visiting https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov which is needed for entry into the US at a cost of $21 per person.
You must complete an ESTA application at least 72 hours before flying. Any traveller who fails to complete an ESTA application at least 3 days before departure will almost certainly be refused entry into the country under new US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. If you are even considering visiting the States, it's worth filling out an ESTA application now as they are valid for two years. Important: If you are refused entry because you do not hold the correct travel documents or have had your application for ESTA rejected - you will NOT be entitled to any form of refund or covered by your travel insurance policy.
