Step 1 - Tell us your preferences
What are you interested in seeing and doing? Tell us what you want from your motorhome hire Canada holiday and we'll ask the important questions. We'll help you figure out where to pick up and drop off your motorhome and take into account your budget and expectations before you decide on vehicle size. Step 2 - Fine-tune the details
We'll make sure there's nothing for you to worry about. Since you can't collect your motorhome on the day you arrive in Canada, we’ll also include a hotel for your first night’s stay. Step 3 - One last review and book!
Review your full motorhome holiday itinerary with our travel experts and check you're happy with everything. We'll take care of booking it all and will send your confirmation details and travel documents over. Plus, your holiday will be ATOL protected when you book with us. The Icefields Parkway, Alberta
The Icefields Parkway, or Highway 93, links Lake Louise with Jasper and is one of the most scenic driving routes anywhere in the world. It is a hugely popular destination for those renting motorhomes in Canada as there are natural attractions all the way along its 232km length and it passes more than 100 ancient glaciers. It's here that you'll find the Columbia Icefields, where giant trucks take you out to step on the Athabasca Glacier. You'll find waterfalls, glacial lakes, alpine forests and wildlife along the way. -
The Cabot Trail, Nova Scotia
Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia boasts some of the most incredible ocean roads anywhere in the world and this is a popular route for many people booking Canada motorhome holidays with us. Cruise your RV along the winding cliff roads and be rewarded with wide-open views of the Atlantic Ocean. Encounter old-growth forests and prehistoric rock formations as you wind your way past friendly fishing communities. As a bonus, the fresh seafood and juicy lobsters here are a real highlight! -
The Pacific Rim Highway, BC
If you're looking through our campervan hire Canada holidays, then the Pacific Rim Highway route is a destination that should be high on your bucket list. This scenic highway cuts across Vancouver Island in British Columbia from just north of the ferry port of Nanaimo on the East Coast to the surfing town of Tofino on the West Coast. The road cuts through the Island's wild heart, through vast swathes of old-growth forest. The towering cedars dwarf the cars that drive past them and are draped in hanging moss. Once you reach Tofino, you'll be rewarded with the spectacular beaches of the Pacific Rim National Park.

Finding your campsites
Remember that even though you're in a fully equipped campervan, you're not allowed to camp just anywhere during your Canada motorhome holidays. You must spend the night at a designated campsite. Thankfully, Canada is well-equipped when it comes to campsites. We aren't able to book campsites for you but can point you in the right direction to find suitable sites. In the national parks, these will be managed by Parks Canada, and you can book through their website. -
Make the most of your motorhome
The campgrounds in Canada are excellent. Many of them include a fire pit at each pitch, so make sure you bring some marshmallows for toasting! You'll usually be able to buy firewood bundles somewhere on-site. One thing to remember is that thanks to the beautiful wild locations of the campsites, especially in the likes of the Canadian Rockies, bears are sometimes a risk. Read up on bear safety and pay attention to warning notices. You may need to keep food in bear-proof lockers provided on-site. -
Taking your time
Don't be too ambitious with your driving times and distances. Sometimes, the driving distances in Canada can be further than you think. Plus, Canada is laid-back when it comes to driving. No one drives too fast, and you'll be slower in a motorhome too! Allow plenty of time for each leg of your journey to make lots of stops and enjoy Canada at your own pace. There are so many incredible views and attractions that you'll be pulling over a lot during your motorhome holiday in Canada!

Cruise Canada operates the largest fleet of motorhomes in North America. Their clear and concise range of three different motorhomes keeps things simple while offering the optimum comfort to suit your group. Choose from compact, standard or large motorhomes sleeping from 3 to 7 people. Each RV is fully equipped with all the practical amenities you need. -
Fraserway
Fraserway has a big range of motorhomes in all different sizes. The smallest RVs sleep two people and are not much bigger than a normal car. The Van Conversion is the size of a people carrier, and the Truck Conversion has a truck body with a cab over the roof. These can be a great option if you'd prefer to drive a smaller vehicle. On the other end of the scale, the largest RV sleeps 6 with room to spare. -
CanaDream
CanaDream is one of the largest Recreational Vehicle ("RV") Rental Companies in Canada. With a fleet of approximately 800 vehicles, you can pick up your Camper from seven gateway cities across Canada: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Montréal, Halifax and Whitehorse. Their five motorhomes range from 2-berth to 6-berth to suit all groups.

Your motorhome specs
All our motorhomes in Canada have air conditioning, power steering, automatic transmission and cruise control for an easy drive. Your facilities onboard will vary depending on the size of the motorhome you choose. However, all include a kitchen stove, microwave and fridge; a bathroom with a flush toilet and shower; and a hot water heater. All these great facilities mean you can explore Canada at your own pace and in complete comfort. Your rental also includes public liability and property damage insurance cover. Collision deductible reducer cover can be purchased to reduce any excess charges. -
Mileage and one-way rentals
Depending on your plans, it could be cost-effective to pre-purchase mileage packs. You can choose a fixed amount or roam free with unlimited mileage. Packs start from £24 for 100km, or from £55 per day for unlimited. You'll also need to think about one-way fees if you're planning to drop off your motorhome in a different location from where you picked it up. One-ways are very popular so let us know in advance if you're planning this. Fees start from £384. -
Extra costs to budget for
There will be a security deposit which is paid by credit card and is refunded after you return your motorhome. There will also be a vehicle preparation fee from £76 per booking. Convenience kits from £76 pp and include things like bedding, cookware, and utensils. Extras like camping chairs, bike racks, child seats, and sat navs can be rented. Don't forget - your camping fees need to be paid directly to the campgrounds.
