Day 1 Arrive in Vancouver

Upon arrival, make your way to your chosen hotel and spend the rest of the day sampling the delights of the city.

Day 2 Vancouver to Alaska with Celebrity Cruises

Arrive independently at the cruise terminal on Canada Place. Your cruise departs at 4:30pm to begin its magnificent journey to the wilderness of Alaska.

Day 3 Scenic Cruising the Inside Passage

Prepare for incredible views of wildlife, breathtaking glacier bays and craggy coast lines. Keep your eyes peeled for whales while cruising the scenic Inside Passage.

Day 4 Icy Strait Point*

Arriving into Icy Strait mid-afternoon, take a whale watching excursion, sample the local cuisine or take a history tour to learn about the rich native heritage.

*Some departures will visit the Russian-influenced fishing village of Sitka

Day 5 Cruising Hubbard Glacier

The Hubbard Glacier is breath-taking and if you listen carefully, you can hear it calving! Soak up the surroundings of jagged icy peaks and the turquoise waters.

Day 6 Juneau, Alaska

Arrive at 7:30am into Juneau, Alaska’s capital city. Spend time marvelling at the huge Mendenhall Glacier or take a tram up Mount Roberts for outstanding views.

Day 7 Ketchikan, Alaska

Dock in Ketchikan at 2pm and spend the rest of day exploring the pretty town and its fantastic display of totem poles.

Day 8 Scenic cruising of the Inside Passage

Cruise back down the magnificent Inside Passage en route to Vancouver. Look out for wildlife including whales breaching and eagles soaring overhead.

Day 9 Vancouver to Campbell River

Head to Vancouver Airport to catch your flight to Campbell River. The surrounding area is beautifully set on the coast of Vancouver Island. Overnight in Campbell River.

Day 10 Campbell River to Knight Inlet Lodge

Depart at 9.30am on your float plane to Knight Inlet Lodge where you will enjoy a full day of bear viewing adventures. Your first sighting will be unforgettable!

Day 11 Knight Inlet Lodge

Today enjoy spectacular sightseeing of Grizzly Bears and other local wildlife. Overnight at Knight Inlet Lodge.

Day 12 Knight Inlet Lodge to Vancouver

Go on a final bear viewing boat excursion before your return journey to Vancouver. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy in Vancouver.

Day 13 Vancouver

Today’s highlights include Stanley Park, English Bay, Gastown, Chinatown, Capilano Suspension Bridge park and much more. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day 14 Fly from Vancouver

Your tour ends upon checkout from your Vancouver hotel. Spend some time buying last minute souvenirs before heading to the airport for your flight home.

ESTA online application for entry to the USA

Important: All cruise passengers must complete the online Visa Waiver form by visiting https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov which is needed for entry into the US at a cost of $21 per person.

You must complete an ESTA application at least 72 hours before flying. Any traveller who fails to complete an ESTA application at least 3 days before departure will almost certainly be refused entry into the country under new US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. If you are even considering visiting the States, it's worth filling out an ESTA application now as they are valid for two years. Important: If you are refused entry because you do not hold the correct travel documents or have had your application for ESTA rejected - you will NOT be entitled to any form of refund or covered by your travel insurance policy.
