This magnificent circular tour departing Vancouver encompasses Whitehorse, Dawson City in the Canadian Yukon and through to Fairbanks, the gateway to the interior region of Alaska. With your own tour guide you will enjoy in-depth knowledge into the local area and explore Denali National Park on the McKinley Explorer train, staying in Denali before heading onwards to Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city. You will depart on your cruise from Seward, stopping at all of Alaska’s most popular port towns before cruising the Inside Passage back to Vancouver.

Day 1 Fly to Vancouver
Arrive into Vancouver and take the airport shuttle to the Fairmont Airport Hotel. Overnight Vancouver.
Day 2 Vancouver to Whitehorse
Take your internal flight from Vancouver to Whitehorse on Yukon’s own Air North and meet your Tour Concierge for an included Welcome Dinner. Overnight Whitehorse.
Day 3 Dawson City
Follow the route of Klondike gold stampeders in style to Dawson City, with an included lunch stop in historic Minto. Overnight Dawson City.
Day 4 Dawson City
After a morning of optional touring, enjoy a nostalgic Yukon River paddle-wheeler cruise aboard the Klondike Spirit. Overnight Dawson City.
Day 5 Fairbanks
Your journey continues as you board a short flight bound for Fairbanks. Overnight Fairbanks.
Day 6 Fairbanks
Take a step back in time with a gold mine tour then board the sternwheeler Discovery (lunch included), complete with a native village visit and sled dog demo. Overnight Fairbanks.
Day 7 Denali National Park
Board the luxurious McKinley Explorer train to Denali, check into your lodge and explore on your own this afternoon. Overnight in Denali National Park.
Day 8 Denali National Park
Venture deep into Denali on the Tundra Wilderness Tour, the best way to see wildlife and hopefully Mt. McKinley too. Overnight in Denali National Park.
Day 9 Denali National Park
Free day to explore on your own or take an optional excursion. Overnight in Denali National Park.
Day 10 Anchorage
This afternoon, re-board the McKinley Explorer bound for Anchorage. Exclusive bonus: Enjoy a complimentary dinner onboard the train. Overnight Anchorage.
Day 11 Anchorage
Explore on your own or choose an optional excursion in Alaska's largest city. Overnight Anchorage.
Day 12 Seward
Enjoy a scenic tour to Seward before saying farewell to your Tour Concierge and embarking your Holland America Line ship. Overnight on board.
Day 13 Hubbard Glacier
Hubbard Glacier is the longest tidewater glacier in North America and has a rapidly advancing ice margin earning it the nickname ‘the Galloping Glacier’. Its popularity is also due to the glacier’s three-story icebergs that calve into the icy waters.
Day 14 Glacier Bay
Cruise the ice-studded fjords of this national treasure for a full eight hours as a Park Service Ranger narrates. Overnight on board.
Day 15 Haines / Skagway
The best of two ports - stay in Haines for an uncrowded experience, or go to Skagway for excursions and shopping. Overnight on board.
Day 16 Juneau
Enjoy a full day of exploring Alaska's capital - choose from exciting shore excursions and still have time to shop. Overnight on board.
Day 17 Ketchikan
Explore this uniquely Alaskan port, famous for its rich native culture, salmon fishing, and scenic Misty Fjords. Overnight on board.
Day 18 At Sea
Relax and enjoy a full day of scenic Inside Passage cruising and immerse yourself in Holland America Line elegance. Overnight on board.
Day 19 Fly from Vancouver
Your tour ends with your disembarkation in Vancouver. Transfer independently to the airport for your return flight home.
ESTA online application for entry to the USA
Important: All cruise passengers must complete the online Visa Waiver form by visiting https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov which is needed for entry into the US at a cost of $21 per person.
You must complete an ESTA application at least 72 hours before flying. Any traveller who fails to complete an ESTA application at least 3 days before departure will almost certainly be refused entry into the country under new US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. If you are even considering visiting the States, it's worth filling out an ESTA application now as they are valid for two years.Important: If you are refused entry because you do not hold the correct travel documents or have had your application for ESTA rejected - you will NOT be entitled to any form of refund or covered by your travel insurance policy.
