Day 1 Vancouver
After landing, transfer to your downtown Vancouver hotel. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Pacific Coast city. Overnight in Vancouver
Day 2 Vancouver – Whitehorse
Head to Vancouver Airport for your internal flight to Whitehorse. Collect your car hire. Overnight in Whitehorse.
Day 3 Whitehorse – Watson Lake (425km)
Depart eastward along the Alaska Highway into the interior of the Yukon, passing small towns and villages. Overnight in Watson Lake
Day 4 Watson Lake - Carmacks (584km)
Follow the path of several rivers and long lakes, many only previously seen by the most avid traveller. Overnight in Carmacks.
Day 5 Carmacks - Dawson city (355km)
Journeying farther northward, you embark on a day of discovery travelling through the wilderness of the Yukon heartland. Overnight in Dawson City.
Day 6 Dawson City
You can spend the day touring the historic landmarks of Dawson City and the surrounding gold-fields. Overnight in Dawson City.
Day 7 Dawson City - Beaver Creek (291km)
Crossing the Yukon River by ferry, drive along a picturesque route following the Top of the World. Overnight in Beaver Creek.
Day 8 Beaver Creek – Haines Junction (154km)
Driving back on the Alaska Highway, explore the natural wonders such as the shores of Lake Kluane. Overnight in Haine’s Junction.
Day 9 - Haines Junction
A day free at leisure is a good opportunity to explore the village. Perhaps pay a visit to the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations' Da Kų Cultural Centre, an interactive living museum that celebrates the history, culture and art of the Indigenous people of the area. Afterwards, perhaps drop by the St. Elias Convention Centre to see the permanent and rotating collection of art, reflecting the modern interpretations of local and recent artists. Day 10 Haines Junction – Whitehorse (398km)
Departing for Whitehorse, stop midway at the village of Champagne. Visit the traditional living structures of a First Nations Village. Overnight in Whitehorse.
Day 11 Whitehorse
Discover why Whitehorse has cultivated a name as the Yukon’s hub of local guided and independent sightseeing and touring activities. Overnight in Whitehorse.
Day 12 Whitehorse to Vancouver
Return to the airport for your flight back to Vancouver. Either extend your stay or join your international flight home
