Day 1- 3 Halifax
Welcome to Halifax, Nova Scotia, a city that deftly blends the past with the present! The heart of Halifax is perfect for exploring on foot! It's also a great place to base yourself and take diverse daytrips. Why not explore the city, enjoy your first fresh seafood of the trip and rest up for the night at your hotel. 2 nights in Halifax.
Day 3 -5 Halifax to Truro (95km)
Today starts the beginning of your Motorhome adventure, pick up your Motorhome and begin your journey to the “Hub of Nova Scotia”, Truro’s size, central location and historic downtown makes it a popular home-base for exploring the province and the world-renowned tidal phenomena of the Bay of Fundy. Enjoy the Hiking Trails and Outdoor pools in Victoria Park – lookout for wildlife it truly is a hidden gem, tucked away downtown! On the edge of town visitors flock to the Salmon River to view the tidal bore that occurs twice a day because of the immense incoming Fundy tide. Nearby on the Shubenacadie River, adventurers can also enjoy the one-of-a-kind thrill of tidal bore river rafting! 2 nights in Truro.
Day 5 -7 Truro to Charlottetown (228km)
Departing the shores of Truro, today takes you down the Trans-Canada Highway leaving the treasures of the maritime behind, you enter the picturesque city of ‘Charlottetown’, Prince Edwards Island. Your stay is at leisure to explore the Victorian homes and elegant squares of Charlottetown and trail the island. 2 nights in Charlottetown
Day 7 Charlottetown to Antigonish (160 KM)
Return to Nova Scotia via the Northumberland Strait, and drive through tranquil scenery and small communities. the highland heart of Nova Scotia! Antigonish is a small town, rich in Gaelic history nestled in the north-eastern part of the province. The county is full of rolling hills and beautiful farms, surrounded by lovely beaches on its shores. Relax on Pomquet Beach Provincial Park located north east of Antigonish, with its beautiful dunes and occasional sand bars and be sure to stroll along the boardwalk. Overnight in Antigonish.
Day 8 - 9 Antigonish – Halifax (213km)
It's time to leave Atlantic Canada behind with your head full of memories! after your final night in Halifax, Head to the airport for your flight back home
