Itinerary
Day 1 - 2 - Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver and spend the next couple of days exploring this scenic city on your own.
Day 3 - Rocky Mountaineer Vancouver to Whistler
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to the resort town of Whistler, board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the North Vancouver Station for a breath-taking rail journey through the stunning scenery of the Sea to Sky Corridor. The remainder of the day is at your leisure in Whistler.
Day 4 – Rocky Mountaineer Whistler to Pemberton to Quesnel
Departing Whistler, you will board the Rocky Mountaineer train at Pemberton Station, you will travel to the charming rural town of Quesnel, gateway to the North Cariboo. Spend the evening exploring the town or relaxing in your hotel.
Day 5 – Rocky Mountaineer Quesnel to Jasper
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Quesnel Station, your journey continues to the majestic Canadian Rockies and Jasper National Park. Your rail journey ends today on arrival in Jasper.
Day 6 – Jasper
Enjoy the day with free time to relax or book your own activities at your leisure. The resort town of Jasper and the surrounding national park offer various activities from relaxation to adventure. Overnight in Jasper.
Day 7 – Jasper to Banff
Travel from Jasper to Banff via one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. Lake Louise, Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Glacier Skywalk, and Athabasca Falls are among the day's highlights. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn about its geological features. Lunch is provided at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre. Afterwards, a brief stop will be made at Bow Lake before arriving in Banff this afternoon. Overnight in Banff.
Day 8 – Banff
Enjoy the day with free time to relax or book your own activities at your leisure. Banff has activities for all, from taking the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain, relaxing in the Banff hot springs, exploring the bustling town, to outdoor wildlife adventures. Overnight in Banff.
Day 9 – Banff to Calgary
Today you will enjoy a full-day tour concluding in Calgary. Begin the morning with a sightseeing tour of Banff.
Day 10 – Calgary
Your tour ends upon checkout from your Calgary hotel. Head to Calgary Airport for your return flight home
