Itinerary
Day 1 – Calgary
Arrive in Calgary and spend the rest of the day sightseeing in “The Heart of the New West” independently
Day 2 – Calgary to Lake Louise
Depart Calgary this morning for a full-day transfer concluding in Lake Louise. Journey to Banff, where you will enjoy a spectacular boat cruise on Lake Minnewanka. Continue on to a sightseeing tour including Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. Banff Gondola included. Your tour ends on arrival in Lake Louise late this afternoon. Overnight in Lake Louise.
Day 3 - Lake Louise
Enjoy the day with free time to relax or book your own activities at your leisure. With its unique history and picturesque scenery, Lake Louise will not disappoint. Learn about the local wildlife, paddle the lake by canoe, or simply relax amongst the beauty. Overnight in Lake Louise.
Day 4 – Lake Louise to Banff
This morning you are free to explore beautiful Lake Louise on your own. After lunch, a half-day transfer takes you into Yoho National Park to view some of its natural wonders. Among the attractions are the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to Banff. Overnight in Banff.
Day 5 – Banff
Enjoy the day with free time to relax or book your own activities at your leisure. Banff has activities for all, from relaxing in the Banff hot springs, and exploring the bustling town, to outdoor wildlife adventures. Overnight in Banff.
Day 6 Banff to Jasper
Continue your journey from Banff to Jasper on a sightseeing tour of Banff and Jasper National Parks via the Icefields Parkway. Lake Louise, Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Glacier Skywalk, and Athabasca Falls are among some of the day's highlights. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn about its geological features. Lunch is provided at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre. You will arrive in Jasper late afternoon. Overnight in Jasper.
Day 7 – Jasper
Enjoy the day with free time to relax or book your own activities at your leisure. The resort town of Jasper and the surrounding national park offer various activities from relaxation to adventure. Overnight in Jasper.
Day 8 Rocky Mountaineer Jasper to Quesnel
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the mountain resort of Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to the charming rural town of Quesnel, gateway to the North Cariboo. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer passes through the town of Prince George and follows the Fraser River into Quesnel.
Day 9 Rocky Mountaineer Quesnel- Pemberton-Whistler
Your journey continues south today to the four-season resort of Whistler. Enjoy breath-taking and varied scenery. Your rail journey today ends on arrival in the town of Pemberton. You will then be transfered by coach to the resort town of Whistler.
Day 10 – Rocky Mountaineer Whistler to North Vancouver
The morning is free to explore Whistler Village at your leisure. This afternoon return to Vancouver onboard the Rocky Mountaineer through the stunning scenery of the Sea to Sky Corridor. Your rail journey ends upon your arrival in North Vancouver.
Day 11 - Vancouver
Your tour ends upon checkout from your Vancouver hotel. Head to Vancouver Airport for your return flight home.
