Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Vancouver
Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel and spend the rest of your day sampling the delights of this bustling city.
Day 2 Vancouver – Spirit Bear Lodge
Board your flight up the Sunshine Coast to the resort of Bella Bella. Enjoy a 90-minute scenic boat ride to Klemtu and the Spirit Bear Lodge.
Day 3 Spirit Bear Lodge
Experience a full day bear viewing adventure today at one of the main grizzly viewing estuaries, where the bears come to feed and play. Your first sighting will be a moment you will never forget!
Day 4 Spirit Bear Lodge
Today, you will set out on a full day’s boat and walking tour in search of the elusive Spirit bear. Each evening you will be treated to a sumptuous dinner followed by stories of the First Nations people, the Great bear rainforest and the bears that inhabit it.
Day 5 Spirit Bear Lodge to Vancouver
Return to Vancouver by water taxi and scheduled flight. Spend time enjoying the many attractions of the city such as Granville Island and Stanley Park. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 6 Vancouver to Whistler (125km)
Collect your car and drive up to Whistler along the Sea-to-Sky Highway, one of the most scenic drives in BC. Overnight in Whistler.
Day 7 Whistler
Start the day on an organised bear watching tour. Be sure to remember your camera! Spend the rest of the day enjoying Whistler’s many activities.
Day 8 Depart Vancouver
Time to retrace your steps back down the scenic highway to Vancouver before heading to the airport for your flight home.
