The hotel is located on Banff Avenue, so it just a short stroll down the hill to the centre of town, which is a great lively place to explore, with a wide range of shops from quaint local souvenir shops to large shopping centres and designer boutiques. There are several art galleries to browse, or head towards the river and explore the Canadian Museum of the Rockies and Banff Museum.
