In the area
Pocahontas Cabins are located just inside the spectacular Jasper National Park. Surrounded by beautiful wilderness, there are plenty of guided tours to choose from as well as trails to explore yourself.
Take the winding Miette Road up the Fiddle Valley and you will find the remains of the Pocahontas Coal Mine. A short trail takes you through the historical remains of the once thriving mining town of Pocahontas.
Carry on up the same road to reach Miette Hot Springs, the hottest hot springs in the Rockies. Water flows in at 54 degrees, but is cooled to a less scalding 40 degrees as it enters the hot pools.
