In the area
The hotel runs several trips itself, including cruising the waters to spot grey and humpback whales, seals and porpoises, surfing lessons from the local sandy beaches, sea kayaking and a visit to Hot Springs Cove and the stunning Maquinna Provincial Park.
It’s a ten minute walk into the centre of Tofino, which is a charming town full of locally-owned boutiques, galleries and cafes, while a five minute drive south will take you to the pretty Botanical Gardens, home to a huge range of gorgeous blooms and some original art installations, and to Tofino’s own Brewing Company which offers tours and tasting of their originally crafted ales.
