The Robert Bateman Centre is also within walking distance, with ten galleries of this stunning wildlife artist’s work, while a little further on you can explore the natural and human history of the area at the Royal BC museum.
There are plenty of tours from the harbour or take a wander through Beacon Hill Park, a city park like no other, with slopes of beautiful wildflowers, trees, lakes and streams it really is a gorgeous place to spend the afternoon.
