In the area
The hotel is connected by underground pedestrian walkway to Scotia Square Mall, and several other businesses, such as Casino Nova Scotia. Take a pleasant stroll along the waterfront from the casino all the way to the interesting Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, passing a great selection of shops, from pretty boutiques at the Historic Buildings, to chic designer stores on Bishop’s Landing, as well as a variety of restaurants and cafes, stunning tall ships moored in the harbour, and many lively street performances.
Halifax Citadel, a few minutes from the hotel is an interesting place to visit with some entertaining re-enactments and a fascinating history.
