In the area
The Chateau Laurier is surrounded by history, from the Royal Armoury to the Martello Towers – part of Québec’s fortifications, you are also a few minutes from the impressive Citadelle of Québec which you can take a tour around.
Across the road is Battlefields Park, a huge city park with lovely walks and home to many festivals and events, as well as the Museum of Fine Art.
Take a stroll in other direction, and you will pass the parliament building before entering the district of Old Québec, a charming and lively place to explore, full of historic architecture, fantastic shopping and great restaurants.
