In the area
The hotel is just a few minutes from the lively Fisherman’s Wharf district which has some of the city’s biggest attractions, including the Aquarium of the Bay and Madame Tussauds. There are also several maritime museums in the area such as the fascinating National Liberty Ship Memorial, a historic WWII liberty ship which you can tour.
Hop on the iconic cable car and ride up the hill to Union Square for some fantastic shopping and theatres as well as great views over the city on the way up. Stroll along the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge, fifteen minutes away, for fantastic views of the bay or join a guided tour to Alcatraz Island, home of the famous prison – but make sure you book in advance.
