Check in
Select your seat from 24 hours up to 60 minutes before you fly, print your own boarding pass and avoid the queue at the airport.

Or, if you prefer to check in at the airport, WestJet's smiling customer service agents are always happy to help you. We recommend that you arrive at least 90 minutes prior to your flight departure time. Check in closes strictly 30 minutes prior to departure.

Pre-boarding
Pre-boarding is provided for passengers travelling with small children, unaccompanied minors, and for passengers requiring extra assistance.

Inflight services

Headsets
Available for a small fee on all flights to Canada that offer live satellite television. You can also bring your own headset.

Free snack and drinks
We offer complimentary coffee, soft drinks and snacks on all flights to Canada. Please note that WestJet does not provide a full meal service.

Buy on Board
You can purchase food on all non-stop flights over 1 hour and 40 minutes. Passengers are also welcome to bring their own food onboard your Canada flight, and although alcohol can be brought onboard, it cannot be consumed - that's the law!

Luggage allowance

Luggage allowance is based on fare type:

• Economy fare: $25 for first checked bag, second bag $25-29.50
• Flex fare: First checked bag free, second bag $25-29.50
• Plus fare: two free checked bags, third/fourth bag charges apply

WestJet accept bags up to 157 centimeters (62 inches) in combined dimension (length + width + height) and 23 kilograms in weight per bag

Hand Baggage Allowance
Each passenger in a confirmed seat is allowed one piece of carry-on luggage (53 cm L x 23 cm W x 38 cm H) and one personal item (briefcase, handbag or camera bag).
